Thoughts on this Memorial Day
 

I know there is another thread, but I decided to post a new thread in the main section.

To those of you who served our country, I thank you.

To those who could not be here due to paying the ultimate sacrifice in service of our country, I thank you as well.

Our country would not be what it is today without each of you.

We would not have the freedom we have today without each of you.

My paternal grandfather proudly served our Army; my maternal grandfather proudly served our Marine Corps; and my father proudly served our Air Force. While many others in my family have served or are currently serving they have all taught me more about freedom than anyone could.

God bless our troops and God bless America.

Well said my thoughts exactly. Both grandfathers served Air Force, dad Air Force, uncle and cousins in Navy, many friends currently serving various branches. Thank you to everyone you are not forgotten. :stand::flagwave:
