Missouri's not doing too shabby. Dump St. Louis and Kansas City and we'd be number 1. :)

No Polls will ever show the True Numbers of Gun Owners. Not with the Current Administration's Stance on Guns. ;)
You can bet that the Actual Numbers are at least Double!

Yep, I'd have to agree with this and besides the numbers it's WHAT we own.....Well I'd have some if they hadn't fallen in a lake during a boating accident!!!

Yeah it's probably simply indicative of gun attitudes in the states. Heck, Mississippi is probably overstated because some people are too ashamed to admit they DON'T have a gun :D (Mississippi's State Motto is Virtue et Armis - by Valor and Arms)

But Texas has a reputation to uphold after all! You wouldn't Texicans would be shy about owning up to having a gun in the house. Houston is probably skewing the numbers.

Maybe the only thing the survey shows is that states with mainly rural populations have a higher percentage of gun ownership (or a higher percentage willing to admit to gun ownership) than states with big cities. DUH!

Yeah, don't you hate those boating accidents! That deep water, all that mud, can't find any of em!
Also bad when you're down and out, and sell em all at a Gun Show to a guy with 2 id's showing He isn't a Felon.

"Gun"? What is this "gun" you speak of?

Sheepdog 03-27-2013 07:37 PM

As Hillary would say "I have no recollection of that":D

MTD 03-27-2013 10:38 PM

Hmm, only 21.7% or about 1 out 5 for California! 'Ranked close to the bottom! But wait! With population of ~38 millions; that's like over 8 millions gun owners!

Oh well! Minor details!
