Broken thumb safety?

How many have had, or know of, a broken thumb safety on a Dan Wesson in normal use? (not abnormal use like dropping it on concrete)

The reason I ask is that I've been reading some discussions about MIM vs CNC parts, and some people seem to think there is nothing wrong with MIM parts. Yet I have seen numerous accounts of broken MIM thumb safeties.

I haven't used my Dan Wesson CCO enough to have anything happen like that. With that being said, my CCO has no MIM parts in it. So, I look forward to many years with the thumb safety working fine. :D
