Big Howdoo from NW Ohio
It is always a pleasure to join a new group of people with the same interest I have. Thanks for having me!! Hope you don't change your mind!!:mob:
I have three son's and 8 grand-kids in all, with a few old enough to put in a little range time with me, and a few more that probably will.
I am a Journeyman Iron Worker certified in welding, rigging, erecting and fabrication. In 1991 I fell 42 feet and kinda ended my career.
We had a 5th wheel on Lake Erie for a 10 years, before that I had a 21' center console I trailered to Erie and Lake Michigan sport fishing for 23 years. The last 4 years at Erie I ran my own walleye and perch charters, just to fund the boat expenses. Then with the 11 busted vertebra in my back I couldn't take the big water any more, so we sold the boat and new 5th wheel and now, MORE RANGE TIME!!!
I am an avid hand-gunner and Bench Rest shooter. I hunt year round when season's allow with handguns from squirrel to Deer and hogs. Mostly single action revolvers, but have always had 1911's (my ccw of choice) and as recently as a month ago took my farthest ground hog of the year with an open sighted hand-gun, it was my 1911 L.B. P II @ 97 yards. I am at one of two private ranges I belong to 3 to 5 times a week. I have been shooting hand-guns and competing with them since 1972, I started shooting short range bench rest (100-400 yards) in 1995.
I look forward to exchanging results and ideas with others, I have extensive hands on reloading casting and competing experience and find after 45 years there is no end to acquiring more knowledge in the sport of shooting.Clyde:D
