Here is my old Sistema...
Well I have this old pistol. Numbers all match and I love it. It shoots great too. I don't know much about it but I wish I knew the story of what it may or may not have been through.

Very nice Douglas!!:)
I bought one many years back from a buddies sporting goods shop, paid $150.00 for it but sold it a couple of years later. I have a picture of it in my records but it did not photograph too well from the picture. The serial number on it is 73735 and mine did not have any import marks on it. I should have bought a few at that price, even back then!!! |
Here is a post from the big forum about my pistol.
Modelo1927 Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Posts: 167 Sistema Colt pistol serial number 76666 was made for the Argentinean Army. The Argentinean Army had this pistol in service for sometime and afterwards it was transfered to the Province of Cordoba police. The Cordoba province police issued this pistol and after an unknown period of time declared this pistol surplus and was sold us such. Finally it was imported and sold in the USA. |
