Go Bucks!

I am the newest member here at COTEP. I like to learn and find the internet a good place to find thing out. Some things are actually true! :)

I am retired from a really great job as a contractor foe NASA at their Plum Brook Station in Erie County.
I started in the fire department and eventually crawled up the ladder to supervise the Plant Protection department.
The last three years I moved to the infrastructure engineer’s office as his assistant. I luck into this position due to my many years in Plant Protection, as we had to know the various systems on the 6400 acre station, in case of any emergencies.

Anyway, I am now a man of liesure, staying home to watch my cats and dog sleep all day, when I'm not at the range shooting the breeze or firearms.

I guess I am blessed to have two of the few Kimbers :mob: that work 100% of the time. Oh well!

By saying "if they were junk." I was refering to my two. Of course there are all sorts of bad reports out there and I believe them. Well, most of them.

On the other hand, I've owned about six Colt 1911s, two were Gold Cups, and they were all passed on to others to put up with.

Welcome Neil. For the record, I've owned two Kimbers (gone now). Custom and Custom compact. They were from the early years which may have made a difference but in any case, they were great shooters and ran 100% from day one. Kind of funny that I actually shot the compact better than the full sized. Go figure. Anyways…. Enjoy!
