Gsg 1911 22
 

I'm itching for a 22. Can anyone comment on the GSG 1911 22? Have found a company that offers accessories for this pistol http://www.cwaccessories.com/Products.html if you have one please tell me what you think I need to know before I purchase or modify one.

Have heard they have a Zinc slide and have a round count for the slide?

If you want a .22 you can accessorize try a Ruger MKIII 22/45. I have shot the GSG but didn't like it. Just my .02

I have one, shoots fine. I like it because it's a 1911 setup. Positive habit transfer for me.I have no information on mods.

I'm very fond of the Ruger MkIII and Browning Buck Marks, I've modified the hell out of both of them and they are fantastic!:)
