My Newest Rifle!!!
 

Here is the newest rifle in my collection.

It is a Stery M95/34 Carbine chambered in 8X56R caliber. Ammo can be expensive and at times hard to locate for it but that is OK with me. It is a neat little rifle and set me back $89.00 at Southern Ohio Guns.

Here is a picture straight from the shipping box still in cosmoline. Might be after Christmas before I can get it broken down and cleaned.

Thanks Ellison!!! Most of that "dirt" will come off when I clean it. I am not going to refinish the wood as I like the worn weathered look like a battle used rifle should have.:)

A friend of mine told me a few minutes ago that he has right at 5000 8X56R rounds that I can have as he does not have a rifle like that and does not even remember where he got them.:D

Ellison, I just reread my post and that should be 500 not 5000 rounds!!!!

I was going to comment on the round count, you could make a killing selling most of that and still have plenty for yourself. Lol....

I will try to take a picture of the headstamp of the rounds I have left (not many anymore, maybe 20) for your reference.
