His pic and story was on the front page of our local newspaper, what a hero!

Too bad there was some jack ass, pretending to act like a commander in chief standing behind him in the photo....

He seems like a fine young man. I loved that he couldn't take the President's call because he was at work and wouldn't get paid. There are damn few characters left in the world. Brings a tear to the eye and hope to the heart.

This is the kind of young man that makes me proud to be American. Not only brave but humble too, and he respectfully accepted the award on behalf of his fallen brothers . Semper Fi Marine
