Cco

I know what an "Officer" is and understand that a CCO is a concealed carry version but what really differentiates the two?

Riverpigusmc 01-29-2014 06:21 PM

perhaps the broken mainspring housing i.e., rounded butt? Not sure

Pawpaw 01-29-2014 06:30 PM

As I understand it, a CCO has a commander slide (4.25" barrel) on an officer's frame.

I could be wrong though. I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

Wow, and here I thought this would be one of those "duh" questions. Glad I'm not the only one unsure :D

Xbonz 01-29-2014 06:56 PM

Isn't a CCO just a lightweight Officer's model?

Riverpigusmc 01-29-2014 07:05 PM

if Mary were here, sh'd set us straight. That's what she carries. I miss our denmother. If she shows back up, y'all behave. Even *I* behave..kinda. Sorta

A CCO is a Compact frame and a 4 or 4.25" top assembly.

In Colt terms it would be an Officers frame and a Commander top end!!!:D

The Dan Wesson CCO bears that out.
