This is why you should always check your brass carefully.
This is a 10MM brass, second firing I shot the factory then the second and this is what I got. Was not even a hot load by any stretch.....

I shoot and reload mostly .45ACP. When I'm picking up brass at the range, I've noticed that there's at least one manufacturer (Federal Champion) loading .45ACP with small primers. If I'm not careful to check during the reloading process, I'll try to mash a large primer into the small pocket. I've never had one go bang, but it scare the crap out of me.

Someone should invent a tool that will separate brass by primer size. Eyeballing a bunch of brass is tiresome.

I can't tell from the pics. Did the head separate?

Looks like the case split. But my eyes aren't what they used to be.

yep, sorry about the poor pics not a good photo guy...the case slit but the rest is in fine shape! It was a pmc, forgot to mention that. Not dogging on them its happens to all brass but just stating facts.
