I think it's more of a tactic to grab guns than to demonize anyone. The liberal media doesn't want anyone but LE and Military to have guns. Hell, if they had their way even LE and Military would be issued guns for their shift only. A European model is what they are after, where our identities will be assigned at birth and we will quietly do as told till death.

I don't see Americans ever caving in to that, even whiny liberals like their freedom.

I think you are on the right track but are off the mark a bit. They don't point out gang shootings and self defense with a gun. Ecause that would be proof that the agenda isn't working. Makes no matter what he skin color is. Gang shootings where there are strict gun laws just show that the laws are ineffective, self defense shows why we need to be able to defend ourselves.

The media doesn't highlight the flaws in their agenda. Only what will craft the narrative.

I might point out a less sinister reason: gang shooting and shootings in poorer areas are commonplace. Shootings involving "others" are news.

Maybe, but too many of those kind of shootings to report. Did ya notice that people are complaining that mass shootings have little or no effect anymore? Almost like common news. We are de-sensitized. Well, not me, I am on a higher alert since I have young kids.
