Tea Party

Eric Cantor lost his butt..the Tea Party is TOTALLY re-energized. I'm diggin' it.

Me too!

Appears Immigration "Reform" was the main issue. Cantor was a supporter and his defeat signals defeat for any "Dream Act" since RINOs will fear the repercussions of supporting it.

I Dream of immigration enforcement :D

Get ready for O to make his big heavy handed push now that his "ally" is gone. Without his whipped Congress to do his bidding he's going to do it on his own.

The political shot across the bow to the RINOS from the TEA Party.

There may actually be a light at the end of the tunnel .... :D

Watching FOX it does look like O is going to have to whip out his pen quickly now that Cantor is gone. Whispers are saying Alabama is about to have a strong Tea Party showing. This is very interesting.

Political Earthquake Shocks Washington Establishment

Written by Gun Owners of America

Eric Cantor, the Majority Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives, went down in a stunning defeat to GOA-supported David Brat.

Cantor, who represents Virginia's 7th District, vastly outspent Brat, an economics professor at Virginia's Randolph-Macon College.

On Monday evening, Gun Owners of America blanketed the district with phone calls to registered voters, hitting Cantor for his recent vote to expand gun control and noting that Brat stands 100% for the right to keep and bear arms.

On Tuesday morning, political commentators predicted a landslide win for Cantor, but voters rejected his support for bigger government and, in particular, his support of amnesty for illegal aliens.

Since the district is considered safe Republican, Brat is heavily favored to win the general election in November.

Congratulations to David Brat, and we're thankful to the many GOA supporters who made this victory possible.

Sincerely,

Tim Macy
Vice Chairman

Just curious but how will all of you feel if a Dem wins the election. Remember this was a primary. Virgina just elected a Dem anti-gun governer who couldn't wait to pay back the Bloomberg money that was spent on his campaign. So will you all be just as happy as you are above if an anti democrat takes over Cantor office?

Cantor's district is overwhelmingly Republican. And yes, it would still be worth it
