My CBOB is falling apart!
 

As I found out it's because the spring that holds that safety and the slide stop in had fallen out of the gun.

Defective or is this a design decision? As it stands I got problems!

Do I need to get a gunsmith, yell at Severen, DW or can I fix this?

How did the spring "fall out"? Need more info.

Plunger spring. Is the plunger still in the tube?

There should be a tube, slide stop plunger, safety plunger and a spring, and then use small screwdriver and turn it to lock it in place..:D:D:D:D:D

Spring should have a slight kink in the center to hold it in the tube.

How'd it happen. I don't know. I was putting it back together after cleaning and noticed the thumb safety was hanging out off the gun. Put it back together and then noticed the spring and plungers on my lap. Choice words ensued.

Worked the TS back into it's spot and with a small screwdriver to hold the plunger, finally got the TS flush to the gun.

Not a happy camper right now. I hate that small stub of a spring rod they use.

What? There IS a slight bend in the middle

Sounds like operator error.:D
