New AR-15 Rifle Overcomes Horrendous NY SAFE Act

July 8, 2014

As species, it’s pretty clear that we are extremely versatile and that we have the ability to overcome just about anything. So when the good ol’ state of NY decided to try and ban those dastardly “assault” rifles, one gun company formatted their guns to meet the guidelines, and boy are Liberals pissed off about it.

The gun is comes out of Missouri where the manufacturer Black Rain Ordnance has recently released a new series of “New York Compliant” rifles. What’s best about the guns though is that they’ve figured out a way to keep everything that makes the firearm functional, it just meets the ludicrous NY SAFE Act requirements for owning such a weapon.

Furthermore, the Guardian reports, “The modified gun still fires at the same rate and with the same power; the shooter just holds it slightly differently. These modified weapons do not have to be registered with the state.”

So, are any of our readers from NY? Let’s hear from you guys – is this something you would purchase? Let us know in the comments below.

I guess when one lives in the " Democratic People's Republic of New York State ", one has to take whatever one can. http://i.imgur.com/cVoRIdv.gif

If I lived in NY I'd probably settle on a nice lever action myself.

I know as a supporter of the Second Amendment, and a firearm owner, I could never live in that state.

I have a friend from college that lives in New Jersey and he has to hide his M1 Carbine because he says it is illegal to own it there.

I told him to move, and he advised unfortunately he can't do that until he retires, which is not in the immediate future.

So he has to be a felon to exercise his Second Amendment right. What a screwy way to live.

I defected from that Commy state in May 2012. Sad because my family and friends are still there, but I wanted to be with my wife to be. It's nice not only to have a rifle w/o discrimination, but even better to be able to go into a store and leave with a brand new pistol, buy 7+ mags, etc. It's sad what they are doing to that state, and firearms aren't the only areas that are being "Liberalized"... unfortunately.
