Chicago does not have a gun problem. They have a gang problem.

Last weekend (July 4th) they had several shootings, and the event got similar publicity. They neglected to mention in the paper that one of the shootings was a valid self-defense by a newly minted concealed carry permit holder.

The publicity is likely part of an orchestrated campaign to convince the sheeple that "guns are bad" and that they should go back to the restrictions Chicago has had for the past decades.

Lost in all of this is the true cause of crime.... Think of all the children that are victims... (you know, the 15-19 year olds... the ones in the gangs.... )

I know, BUT. All Gun Control Laws are Falsely Assuming that Criminals will OBEY the Laws. Point in the case of Chicago, no matter what Laws they enact, the Guns will still be in the Gangs hands, Period. The ONLY People that Obey the Laws are Lawful Gun Owners and they will be rendered Defenseless by Tougher Laws on Guns..
The young ones that are in The Gangs, they made a CHOICE to be in them.
For what reason? I dunno, Drugs, Money, Power & Sex?

Sarge, I'm not sure if you knew this, but the picture is actually of Dana Stone, who was a well-known Vietnam war photographer. He's most well known for disappearing in Cambodia in 1970 with another combat photog named Steve Flynn (son of Errol Flynn from the old B&W movies).

His work was really respected. They never found him.

I knew that Flynn ( Errol's son ) and another war photographer went missing, but I didn't know this was Dana Stone.

Sure wouldn't catch me out in the boonies during a firefight with only a 35mm camera around my neck. They definitely had some cojones that's for sure.
