Found a new mag pouch
Don't know if this is the right place to put this, but after mowing the lawn I grabbed my leatherman tool to open a breather whole in my beer and had a thought.
Looked about the same size as my G19 15 round mag and tried it. It fit! I know I have a spare leathermen holder floating around here somewhere. Now I only wish I had one that fit a 10 round CMC mag! http://i1097.photobucket.com/albums/...psfwne1a7d.jpg http://i1097.photobucket.com/albums/...psruwpexb0.jpg http://i1097.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7tm1nq9m.jpg |
Cool, now go buy another two or three more leathermans to carry the other 3 mags in:D

Yup, Zuk...figgered that out years ago...then my son told me he had no way to carry the Leatherman.......problem with kids, whatever you have becomes theirs on a whim....

Great idea Dave, looks like it was made for it!

Yep, multitool pouches make great stealth mag pouches.
I have a Victorinox pouch on my belt right now with a 1911 mag in it. http://www.cotep.org/forum/picture.p...&pictureid=809 More than one, however, may destroy the stealthiness... |
Bass Pro Shops sells three different sizes of these. I have a small one for my TCP mag. A medium for my M&P Compact mag and a large just in case I ever carry a full size. Bonus that you can put it horizontal on the belt.

I have a couple of these after searching. You would be surprised how much stuff is left in a vehicle when it is turned in for auction here at the county. The county provides some departments with leatherman tools. So I'll start looking around for the pouches. The auction guy just normally throws them away. |
Cheap cell phone holsters from the old flip phone days work well for 1911 mags, those made for certain Nokia models, in particular. Just eyeball them and you'll see which ones will fit.
