New to loading Lead .
 
Picked up some hard cast lead for my .45 ACP . Where do I start ? Min. load of powder . " Bullseye "

Check the manual, depends on the gun,
But I usually start a little above min. and work up to till it is accurate and is what I want, everyone uses a different powder, and brass and primer. When I am working up a load I always use the same bullet, brass, primer and powder...........Also remember always check twice

My Lyman manual does not list 230 Grain only 225 @ 4 gr Bullseye to start . ?

Arley my manual shows me for 230 Gr. lead bullets for bullseye use from 5.1 to 5.5 grains..............
