The Middle East problem...
 

In a nut shell. If Israel lays down their arms, they would be dead. If the Muslim states lay down their arms, there would be peace...pretty simple?

The Arabs' position reminds me of the old saying, "Be careful what you wish for!"

I trained some of the Israeli fighter pilots while in the Air Force. I also had the opportunity to train Brits, Germans, French, and the Dutch. The Israelis were head and shoulders above all of the rest, including many of our pilots.

All of them could fly air-to-air combat like seasoned veterans, even their new guys. Their scores on the range dropping bombs and shooting guns were exceptional.

I would fly into any mission with any of them, and would hate like hell to fight against them. It wasn't by accident that the last major conflict only lasted 6 days.

The restraint of their government is admirable.
