Another National Defense cut by the Obama Administration, while at the same time he is asking for millions of dollars for illegal aliens.

Can't get much clearer than this.

About 550 Army majors, including some serving in Afghanistan, will soon be told they have to leave the service by next spring as part of a budget-driven downsizing of the service.

The decision to cut Army majors comes on the heels of a move to slash nearly 1,200 captains from the ranks. Army leaders were criticized at the time for giving 48 of them the bad news while they were deployed to Afghanistan.

The Army declined to say how many majors will be notified while they are at the battlefront.

I have a friend who was a commander in the Army's tank division. He said that division needed to put some of the middle management to retirement because there are so few officer spots that it's hard to advance. He said that it's one of the new divisions that have 20 year captains, not because they aren't good enough to advance but because there are so few spots for people to move up to.

MY question with this further "draw down" is; where are the advocacy groups? The Officers and NCO Associations, the American Legion, VFW, etc.

Where is anyone at the Pentagon willing to stand up and say "ENOUGH." Shame on them all.

Agreed.....I know Marines are being pushed out, "scores" being effed up by Guards who get sent in to evaluate. This is bigger than we know of.

How did you know the exact sentence?
"The Marines are pussified" is the newest for leaving The Corps.
