Another Redskins Debate.
 

I couldn't find the original post on the Washington Redskins debate. So. I'll put this here. Another take on it.

I hate this debate...there are so many other teams with native names of sorts but they latch on to the NFL team because I think they have the most money? Not sure but think its crap!

NFL is turning into a bunch of homo sissies with their "diversity" and social engineering crap. They'll cave.

GEEZ :eek:, next PETA will be bitchin because some of the sports teams are named after animals ...... :confused:

Sad thing is that "red skin" was originally applied to a tribe on the east coast because they colored their skin with red ocher.

"Indian" is also a misnomer and some consider a slur, but I recently found out that some tribes have taken the name.

If we become more sensitive to anything, you're correct, we will end up with someone objecting to "Bears", "Lions", "Cowboys", etc.

This has got to stop.

I find it amusing that the majority of people against this "slur" are white...

Next it will be the Atlanta Braves, or the the Cleveland Indians...nickname "the tribe", or the Florida State Seminoles and who else???

People need to worry about serious stuff...the economy, Ebola, ISIS, etc. Not the name of a sports team!

They should name the pro sports teams after gangsters or thugs, seems like that's what most of them are now a days.
