The newspaper reported on its website yesterday that the activist, who has emerged as a key adviser to President Barack Obama and New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, owed about $4.5 million in federal tax liens.

Calling Sharpton "scum of the earth" would be an insult to scum.

Reverend Al Sharpton is in the business of racism. If there's no racism, he doesn't get paid. I've met him when I worked in hotels and he's a very cold person. Had the whole National Black Caucus stay at a hotel in Buffalo. The heads of their organization did nothing but complain about everything and everything. They were very nasty, and of course they got what they wanted. Al Sharpton wouldn't even recognize, or aknolwedge the white staff. Even the ones who held doors open for him as a courtesy. They were super polite to minority staff.

Calling Al Sharpton a reverend is like calling Jeffrey Dahmer a chef!
