Believe it or not, good old Fed Hydra Shoks are still a great round in the .380 cartridge. Penetration test show they make it to and just past the 12" mark and expand uniformly every time. This is my choice for now until I see something better. |
I meant the cast .380 bullets. Key words you used...."good old Fed Hydra Shocks" are accurate. Those rounds are crap, and are still available when the Federal HST brand cannot be found. The .380 in a 95 grain HP is way underpowered, the cast bullet will do some damage.
