I have both, 1911, 2011, and Glocks...As a matter of fact, I build Glocks for carry and competition.
I carry now a Glock 43....A great small light gun just fine out of the box and even better after i got done with it. Small, yes, I also have and XDs that I carried for a long time but it is close to a 1# heavier when load wit the same amount.
The G43 will shoot 1.5" -2" groups (depending on ammo and load) with out a bench rest at 50 feet. Even better at 30 feet (I can see the target when it is that close
)
Locks are fine weapons, S&W M&P's are fine weapons and do not get as bad a hit as Glocks do (go figure).
