www.danchinnock.com He makes great knives with mammoth grips all the time.. You may well be able to work a deal for your bowie grips in exchange for the remainder of the tusk piece. He is a solid gentleman and a great craftsman. Give him a call. Nothing to lose. You may know all of this already, but if not it may be worth pursuing. Dennis
