Less weight than a 94, compatible with two revolvers I have in the same caliber, no felt recoil, less money in ammo costs [ which gives me more ammo to practice with ], near 30-30 ballistics with 357 "heavies" to 50 yrds.
There's probably more advantage, but that will suffice for now. In fact I traded a 1958 94 with Lyman peep for the gun and 200 rds of ammo for this gun. I wouldn't shoot 1K 30-30 in 5 years. Presently, I've got 200 rds through this one and it's going to Ca. this weekend for another 200-300 hundred. More shooting, less safe sitting all around.
