My property is the crown of the neighborhood, eight feet above all neighbors so we never flood. However, being up high makes us vulnerable to wind. We lost considerable dirt in these rains(runoff), and the horse barn supports are not totally underground anymore, but all is fixable. I'll be driving back and forth the next two months, repairing one building at a time. I don't know how my lower elevation neighbors fared, nobody is answering texts.
