Yours may balk at the 38's on loading [ depending on the bullet head shape ]. it may run em slicker than snot. It's a crap shoot. The cartidge carrier can be adjusted to the 38's but I stick strictly to 357's in my Rossi/

If you shoot 38 in it, make sure you clean the ring left in the chamber as it can interfere with loading 357 afterward.
