My brothers,
I have a 2011 CCO with 150 rds thru the pipe, this is the first clean/lube job since the initial before I fired it. I have used nothing but a solvent(Outers) for the initial cleaning. NIB the pistol had a sheen to it and no longer does ... I can't seem to get that back no matter what I use.
Has this happened to anyone else with a Duty Coat firearm ? Is this normal or to be expected ? I've heard this finish described as "charcoal" so maybe what I see now is the true look !?
Also ... I must have unknowingly brushed the slide with one of my brass tools and can't seem to get that off either. I'm getting more

as I write !!!. What will remove this without damaging the finish ?
I don't expect my CCO to look new for a lifetime, but it is less than two months old !
PLEASE HELP !
