Kudos to Delta Airlines.
As Irma was bearing down on Puerto Rico, and people were desperately attempting to leave the island, there were four flights inbound. Two JetBlue, one American, and one Delta.
As the two JetBlue flights and the American Flight turned around, Delta Flight 431 flew on, almost right into into the teeth of Irma, and landed at SJU airport in San Juan. They executed a 52 minute turnaround and Delta Flight 302 took off from inside the outer bands of Irma, carrying a plane load of passengers to safety.
That was the last flight out of Puerto Rico.
