It's a Down Day
Sandy is significantly affecting life as we know it here in Virginia today, hence an unexpected day off.
Luckily I still have power.
So I took an hour or so this morning to polish the feed ramps in my Citadel CS and my Sig Carry Nitron.
It was surprising how well both factories had done. The Citadel was at least a little polished and just needed a touch-up with 800 grit sandpaper and a Dremel with polishing wheel and a bit of Flitz.
The Sig was even better, and almost didn't need anything, but I gave her the same treatment.
Now both are mirror finished on both frame and barrel and both feed empty brass without problems.
Next, I'll get my Uniflow mounted to the base I bought and charge up some .223
What are you guys that are home-bound because of the storm doing?
