I've been stopped at border checks in Maine. Uusally some miles from the actual border. I believe in rights too, but I don't believe the borders should be so pourous as to allow illegal aliens to just pop over and start sucking off the teat of us Americans, or maybe to commit some act of terror. I have no problem with being asked if I'm a U.S. citizen and if asked, in spite of who we have in the White House, I would proudly admit that I am. They have road blocks to check for drunk drivers too, all for public safety. So there!
