The reason I ask is that I've been reading some discussions about MIM vs CNC parts, and some people seem to think there is nothing wrong with MIM parts. Yet I have seen numerous accounts of broken MIM thumb safeties.
Never, I own more than 1 Dan Wesson, never a broken thumb safelty, never heard of one either.

No freeman shall be debarred the use of arms.
Thomas Jefferson
“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” Thomas Jefferson
