success
Took my #8 Little Dandy rotor that threw high and worked some JB Weld Steelstick in the bottom of the cavity with a cut down popcycle stick. After it set up, I uses a rasp type drill bit and a finer file type and worked the weld down until it throws 5.2 grains almost every time. Out of 50 throws, one throw threw 5.0 gr and two threw 5.1...the other 47 threw 5.2.
Max load according to Hodgeons with W231 for my 230 gr LRN is 5.3, so I think I'm good to go..I'll still weigh a lot of charges, but hopefully this will speed me up without worrying about getting stuck on stupid.
