I purposely purchased this 1911 so, that I can get my hands dirty with some smithin'. I did not want to start filing, sanding, grinding, ect on an expensive 1911 so, I bought this. It's a Tisas (Turkey made) sold from Bud's. Got it for $450ish with one 8rd Mec-Gar mag. I have read nothing but good reviews on this pistol (although, not many out there) and hope it was a wise choice. I have a list of mods/enhancements I want to do to this thing but, first things first. I will give it a good break-in with as many different types of ammo as possible before I change anything on it.
