Howdy All!

Yes, I am from Connecticut. Land of steady habits. And home to Colt Firearms, Marlin, Winchester, Sturm Ruger, Mossberg, U.S. Firearms, Stag Arms (moving), PTR (moving), General Electric, jet engines, helicopters, clocks, shade tobacco, insurance, and inane firearm laws.

I have a special fondness for John Browning's designs. I personally feel the M1911 is a masterpiece of ingenuity, design, and technology for that time, and for all time.

I have a few of his designed combat pistols, and after stumbling onto this forum, I thought I would at least say hello, since I have two V-Bobs that I am smitten with.

Evidently, this forum started with discussions about and for the Dan Wesson M1911. I will be hanging around from time to time, if you don't mind, to glean insight from the membership, that's you folks. Thank-you for the opportunity.
