Long an admirer of DW 1911 style weapons, my first was a CBOB, which earned instant admiration for it's fit and finish, next was a Markman followed by a Razorback 10MM.
DW could have me on the sales staff, I've honestly and enthusiastically praised the quality/price ratio in several gun forums.
I like the total absence of MIM parts, in fact DW goes against the whole manufacturing mantra of our day, which is all about hype, trading in on honorable old names while cheapening manufacturing processes and materials.
Preaching to the choir, I know, but Dan Wesson 1911's are simply better than most brands, and not just a little better.
