I grew up about a mile and a half from Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital (on the same street.) It was a predominately Republican area, bordering on
adelphia (liberal cesspool).
adelphia has a decades long practice of violating gun owners rights. It is my understanding that
adelphia has oozed out into the surrounding counties.
As a retired health care professional, I will not be surprised if the Doctor gets sacked for violating the hospital's no gun edict. The hospital is part of the Mercy Health System and I expect the Doctor to be hoisted on the petard of political correctness. It seems to me that he made the courageous choice when he chose to arm himself. Unfortunately, I think that he will have to live with it.
