When I was a high school teacher in the 70's, I taught a gun safety class after school. At the time high schools all had Drivers Ed classes, so I told people "Why not Shooter's Ed?"

thing is, in Taiwan, where my wife grew up, guns are strictly prohibited for private citizens to own, but she was trained to shoot an M-16 as part of the compulsory military training.
