Building a cedar strip canoe involves a whole lot of tedious work - I can't blame you for getting side tracked!

No - I didn't build the guideboat. I bought it just like you see it up in Burlington VT. It's made of Kevlar with native cherry trim and soft maple oars - all crafted in a little shop near Lake Champlain.

It's a beautiful boat to row - light as a feather and very responsive.
