Howdy all!
First, I want to thank River

USMC for inviting me to be a member here!
I was a tank gunner in the Army a while back, and ETS'd from Benning on 28March75.
I'm a fifth generation Florida Cracker and retired Ombudsman enjoying life on the water in SW Florida.
I shoot a bit of IDPA, and am a graduate of Brownie's Volusia TF Pistol class this past November.
I like to hunt, spearfish, boating, work on guns (particularly 1911's), motorcycle, bicycle, Kayak, and play guitar in a classic rock power trio.
I've been married almost 29 years, have two sons, and come next March; two grandkids.
I've seen more than a few familiar folks on here already, look forward to having a great time on this forum, and hope to contribute a bit where I can.
Edit: I was just reading Beerhunter's into (another Volusia Alumnus); and noticed the "Mimber" reference. I checked, and, sure enough; I've got one, damn!
In the interests of full disclosure; I'll throw myself on the sword. At one time (many moons ago) I owned four. Then I saw the light, poured out the Koolaid, and now only own one. It was a 20th Anniversary present from the wife, and I've since done a good bit of work on it so it's worth having around.
We both became more enlightened as we grew older; my 25th Anniversary present was a Baer!
