Default Yet another Texas acolyte

Good morning from West Texas. I first saw a glimmering of light when I acquired my first 1911, an Argentine "sistema" Colt, many years ago. I have since acquired a number of additional 1911s but have not yet found my DW. I only recently learned that I might, nonetheless, become a part of this organization and work toward further enlightenment while I wait. I realize that I cannot become completely enlightened as yet, not only because I haven't encountered my (dare I say first?) DW, but, I must admit that I sometimes carry a lesser weapon than a 1911. I am trying to quit. I look forward to your guidance and I will try to be worthy.

Best wishes and Happy Holidays (Including Merry Christmas, if you're so inclined).

Will

Welcome Will

When I was a regional manager West Texas was part of my territory. I did not make it to San Angelo but did spend a bit of time in Big Springs, Midland/Odessa, and Lubbock.

Welcome to the forum. I loved Texas when I lived in San Antonio from 1973-1976. I wouldn't worry too much about not having a DW 1911 yet, as my felow forum members will most certainly lead you astray in that direction.

Merry Chrismas.
