Default Harbor Freight ammo cans.

I got bored and finally got around to putting what little ammo I have stockpiled into ammo cans as HF has the 30 cal plastic cans on sale for $4 a piece right now. The plastic is slick and had to use a little 3M spray glue to get the labels to stick.

Do I still need to put small desiccant packs in each can? The cans will be in my garage in a cabinet that stays cool even during the hot summer months when my garage can hit 110+. We have basically zero humidity here in California.

Here's the coupon if interested.

Nicely done.......I stole Lisa's yellow nail polish and wrote on mine with that. LOL...

I don't think it will hurt to throw at least one pack in each can, even with no humidity. Just to be safe.

Thank you brother and I'll go to Home Depot and get some packs.

Never thought of the nail polish, great idea. Figured the labels were a safe idea, in case I want to change the contents later on, just stick a new label over the old one.

I got some just like that at Walmart. i'd honestly prefer steel cans but these can't be beat for the price.

I had trouble with labels sticking to them as well so I just used a sharpie to wright on them.

Brady Label Makers work well for ammo cans, plastic or steel.

I stack them 4-5 high so steel .50 cal fans work better for me but I have my powder and primers in their own seperate plastic cans.
