Co-Co Cotep meet up.

Well folks, this morning was the initial meeting of the Contra Costa County group of Cotep's, "Co-Co Cotep'ers" - nice ring to it eh? Our meet up took place close to all of us, the USI Sportsmans Complex in Concord, Cal. www.http://unitedsportsmen.com/.

Alvin aka AlvinSF49, Mitch aka Chiselchst, Jim aka 4M1s and myself, Squibs McNubbits were present and accounted for. Our other bay area Cotep member, Ryan aka Wampyril13 could not make this meeting.

Jim was there first sporting his Ed Brown Kobra Carry and a WC CQB Compact. Mitch brought a trio of DW's, 2 Valors - ( one SS and one Black ) and a black Vbob. Alvin showed up with the newest DW to hit the market, a SS Specialist. Do you have to guess what I brought, yep you got it, the KIMBERRRR and the Cbob.

Wow, what a great group of guys and guns. It's taken us some time to get all of our schedules to match and it was worth the wait. We talked, laughed and shared stories. Nobody was uptight and it was a great morning. Man, these guys can shoot. Sorry, didn't take a pics of our targets, but rest assured, nobody will survive entering one of these guys residences unwanted! Everyone invited the others to shoot each others guns. No gun snobs or "don't touch my guns" going on with these guy.

Oh yeah, I presented them each a Cotep patch. I've been the recipient of a lot of generosity and wanted to pass that on to my newest friends.

And just in case you are wondering, YES ALL OF MY RELOADS I BROUGHT WENT BANG AND SAILED DOWNRANGE!!! ( not always accurately, but they went )

All in all, we were there for about 2 hours and had THE greatest time. Looking forward to meeting my new friends again for more shooting and good times.

What a blast! Had a great time, and it was GREAT fun meeting some fellow COTEP'ers...

What a class group! The range was very busy, but we had enough space to manage, and stick together. That wasn't an issue. Everyone behaved themselves (non-COTEP's I mean )

I got to shoot a WC, and the new Specialist . Wow...thanks for that Jim & Alvin!

It was fun to share with the others, and they were very generous. No thanks to Alvin, a Specialist is now on my radar screen (it's all his fault, LOL).

Thanks so much for setting this up, I'm glad you worked to make it happen!
