I reckon youll quit drivin then right? Last I checked were forced by auto insurance too.
Not takin up for the healthcare ław but, just pointing out that weve been forced to by auto insurance as well. If we wanna drive that is....

The SCOTUS disagreed. The states sued the fed to stop ACA on just that point...and lost. I think the court erred, but that was their ruling: you can be fined if you don't carry equivalent level insurance.
Doesn't sound American does it?

The courts said it amounts to a tax, and the guvmint is able to tax......and boy are they taxing!
