I'm thinking about adding a .45(ACP) Carbine. This is not something I'm willing to put big bucks into so HK's, Tommy Repros, etc. aren't a consideration. I recall hearing about a camp gun at some point.
I'd appreciate any comments on your own experiences with one and what I might start looking into - thanks! |

I've been looking for a Hi-Point carbine in 45 ACP for months. I haven't been able to find one anywhere. Every place I look gives me the same song and dance: "Yeah we usually stock those, but we haven't gotten one in a long time."

I have a hipoint in 9mm. For all the naysayers.... it shoots straight, and everytime. Bar none. The 45 should be just as reliable. Upscale.... my best friend owns a beretta storm in 45acp. It also will shoot all day without a hiccup. difference between the two? My hi point was $249. His Beretta? $899. Hmmmmmm.... and mine has a lifetime warranty.
