Angry Brownells shipping rates suck!

To anyone that says MidwayUSA shipping rates are high and they suck, go buy something from Brownells and then come talk to me!

I just ordered a set of VZ grip screws from Brownells, as I was the lucky recipient of a Brownells gift card ( thanks again ) and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the final amount for shipping and handling.

They charged me almost $8 for a $19 set of grip screws. WTF, that's 42% of the value of the grip screws. Damn screws could've been packaged in an envelope with a first class postage stamp.

A few months ago, I ordered 2 M&P .22 cal mags, a 9mm Shield mag and a 1911 mag holder, total shipping and handling on all that was only $5.50 from MidwayUSA!

At least I'm gonna have some pretty cool grip screws to go with some awesome grips (thanks again ) on my new pistola in a few weeks!

Rant over.

I'm waiting until I "need" $150 worth of stuff there to take advantage of free shipping. Actually, I buy as much as I can from Amazon. Never looked for grip screws but they actually have a fair amount of shooting accessories.

So posting this made me curious and I had to look. Too late for you but this might help others:

I strictly buy Midway, I keep all my items in my cart till free shipping or a "$50 off a $200 purchase" special, then I pay for my cart and get all my goodies at once. I have $200 worth of 1911 parts waiting right now, probly pull the trigger Friday when they email me the special.

Got my grip screws today, could've fit 500 rds of 45 ammo into the size of the box they used for a set of grip screws,

Oh, it it was shipped USPS First Class Package.

Got a nifty 75 yr Brownell's sticker, that has to be worth $4-5 bucks, right?
