I thought I had posted my introduction previously, but since I can’t find that post, I decided to do it again.

I’m a retired pilot. Flew 2 tours in F-4’s in Viet Nam. My first combat squadron was with the Night Owls at Ubon, Thailand, thus my handle.

After the Air Force, flew large commercial aircraft (on the freight side of the airport). Instructed in the old DC-8, B757, and B747’s. After the FAA said I was probably senile due to hitting retirement age, I started consulting with domestic and international airlines setting up training programs and getting new airlines and aircraft certified.

I’ve had a Florida CWFL for almost 30 years. Usually carry a Sig P938 or a 238, and once in a while a S&W .38 snubbie revolver.
