Know thy enemy????
Guess it depends on whether or not there is an agenda tied to the course. If it's truly an objective class then no big deal. Assuming it teaches both good and bad then fine, but if it it designed to force feed the masses nothing but propaganda then I am against it.

Doesn't give me a 'warm and fuzzy' feeling.

Meh, I was there 92-96 and there was an Islamic group back then as well. Jewish groups, Christian groups, Hari Krishna groups, all kinds of groups. Religious study groups are on every campus to one degree or another. I would venture a guess that you won't find any terrorists there. Now if a certain preacher gets all bent out of shape and starts Koran burnings again then there may be some fights in the name of all the lords but terrorists would keep a lower profile than joining groups like that.

I am sure there is a group of islamists at almost every school these days. This is a little different in the fact that it is a center for Islamic study though. At least in my mind it's different.
