You can always clean it with cut up dryer sheets. Just a thought.

I just read where some guys are actually washing their corn cob/ walnut media! Sorry, but I think that's a little extreme.
Another tip is to go to a pet store to get your media. Supposedly it's cheaper there than at a gun store. |

Washing it...what the heck...that is nutz...Its really not that $$$ I don't think...pet stores are a savings though if you can find some nicer stuff.

Have not changed my media in two years I still get shiny brass and use old dryer sheets to keep the dust down I also used crushed walnut lizard bedding from pet stores

I change it out when it takes more than a couple of hours to get pristine brass. Also, I use a 50/50 mix of walnut (from the pet store!!! Much much cheaper) and corn cob media. One capful of NuFinish (7 bucks at Wallyworld) per tumbler load. One more thing.... Use a old dryer sheet, cut in half or quarters. The dust from the Walnut media holds powder and lead dust and the dryer sheets seem to hold the dust to a minimum.
